🌟Sales and Marketing Officer (1 Position)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and results-driven Sales and Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting our brand, increasing food sales, and expanding our customer base through innovative marketing strategies both online and offline.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to grow Dine on State’s market presence.

Promote daily offers, discounts, and special meals to attract and retain customers.

Manage social media platforms, website content, and online advertising campaigns.
-
Engage customers and collect feedback to improve service delivery.
-
Build partnerships with local organizations, events, and influencers to increase brand visibility.

Prepare weekly reports on marketing performance and sales trends.
Qualifications
-
Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
-
Proven experience in sales, marketing, or customer relations (food industry experience is an added advantage).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Creative thinker with strong digital marketing knowledge (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, etc.).

Self-driven, target-oriented, and passionate about food and customer satisfaction.

Ridings Skills is a must.
🍴 Outside Catering Team (Part-Time Contract)
Dine on State is expanding its catering operations and looking for 15 energetic and reliable individuals to join our Outside Catering Team on a part-time contract basis.
🍽️ Position: Outside Catering Staff
👥 Number of Vacancies: 15
⏰ Type: Part-Time Contract
Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up and serving during outdoor catering events.
-
Support food preparation and service delivery.
-
Maintain hygiene, customer care, and professional presentation.
-
Ensure smooth coordination before, during, and after events.
Requirements:
-
Prior experience in catering, events, or hospitality is an added advantage.
-
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
-
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
-
Honest, disciplined, and customer-oriented.
👨🍳 Chef (1 Position)
Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare high-quality meals according to the menu.

Maintain food standards, hygiene, and kitchen safety.

Supervise kitchen operations and junior staff.
Requirements:

Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Creativity and passion for cooking.
🍲 Cook (2 Positions)
Responsibilities:

Assist the chef in meal preparation and food presentation.
-
Ensure all ingredients and tools are ready for daily operations.

Maintain cleanliness and follow kitchen safety protocols.
Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in a busy kitchen environment.

Team player with attention to detail.
🧹 Steward (2 Positions)
Responsibilities:
-
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, utensils, and dining areas.
-
Assist in basic food preparation and waste management.
-
Support chefs and cooks during service hours.
Requirements:

Hardworking and reliable.
-
Previous experience in hospitality is an added advantage.
💳 POS / Cashier (1 Position)
Responsibilities:

Handle customer billing and process orders efficiently.
-
Maintain accurate cash and digital transactions.
-
Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
-
Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Business, or related field.
-
Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
-
High integrity and attention to detail.
🏍️ Delivery Personnel (1 Position)
Responsibilities:

Deliver food orders safely and on time.
-
Maintain delivery logs and customer satisfaction.
-
Represent Dine on State with professionalism.
Requirements:

Valid riding/driving permit.
-
Good knowledge of Gulu and surrounding areas.

Punctual and responsible.
🧑💼 General Manager (1 Position)
Responsibilities:
-
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations.
-
Manage staff performance and customer satisfaction.
-
Develop business strategies and monitor finances.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Hospitality, or related field.
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in management or hospitality leadership.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
